Subject: Offer for the hobbyists still here

I hit another birthday, and realize I have way too much stuff in my life... including parts and pieces of 1/6th paraphernalia, that I will never use. I could toss it all away, but before I do, I thought I would see if people here could use it. I choose here, because this is where I was when I started collecting all these things, and I also know the quality of people here, and that most of us are more excited to have something fun to play with, than to just collect the latest, hottest, must have toy.

I'm not able to list and post pictures of everything... I tried that earlier this year, and it about drove me nuts. And, doing that attracts the kind of people I don't want to trade with, or deal with... the "Is that a Hot Toys Exclusive, AR-15, or the Dragon Mega Pack AR-15?"... I don't know, it's a toy gun that looks like an AR 15. You want it, or not?

What I propose, that might be fun... I'll mention some things I have, and if you can use them, you can have them. All I ask is two things: You pay for shipping (paypal, or gift certificates to one of three hobby stores or send cash), and that you swear, on your Hall of Honor, that you will use the items, and not turn around and sell them again for profit (Yup, that happened earlier this year too. Things I practically gave away to a "fellow collector" I see on Facebook within a day of the package arriving at his house... from him.)

Also, you can post some general want list items, and I'll see if I have them. OR maybe someone else does... who knows. I have nothing expensive or hot, but I do have figures, uniforms, parts and pieces, and tons of extra things that I collected to potentially make dioramas out of. Honestly, I'd rather it go to a good home and be used, than spend another 10 years sitting in a box in my closet.

For instance, somewhere I collected to tent quarters. Maybe Cotswold. Maybe home-made. Not sure. Green cloth, and not perfectly scale (which is what leads me to believe it was modeled on old Hasbro stuff or home made). I am never ever going to use these... but maybe you have some dowel rods, and want to make a bivouac or something. Need some camo netting for your tank? Got some. Need some sniper camo (from BBI sniper)? Got it. Need some figures? Got em.

Mostly, what I want is to get some things gone... and not spend hours looking through parts bins for "do you have the Luger from the Dragon Ivan figure?"... Yes, I have a Luger. Who the heck knows where it comes from. You want a luger? I got it. You want THAT Luger? No.

Of course, if you live near Central Florida, you could arrange to pick stuff up, and save shipping... cause I have a Willy's Jeep that I don't need, and the top of the Reichstag in resin that I want gone, and a Remote Controlled Stuart (I think I still have that), and some other big stuff.

What do you think? Could this work? Could we all post some ideas, things we are still looking for, things we would take a risk to pay for shipping, and hope to get some fun toys?
