Subject: Yeah 21st was planning ...

...on some very cool things right before they went out of business. So many planned prototypes I've seen that never got produced. I was so depressed that they never got to produce their fantastic 1/6 Caribbean Pirates line. They were going to be so cool. I keep hoping one day someone will get their hands on at least the old molds in China of the stuff that did get produced and start producing the Ultimate Soldier again in my lifetime. I know someone got their hand on some of it once because a friend of mine who lived in Spain sent me a few photos of knock off 21st sets he was finding there a few years after 21st went out of business and sold everything. Definitley made from 21st's molds note for note ... just made of much cheaper materials. There is always hope I guess. Those molds have to be somewhere that someone can get to. The 1/6 collector world is getting so outragiously pricey these days that we "modest means" collectors could use a break. Last year I broke down and dipped into my life savings for one of the JazzIncDioramas 1/6 1966 Batmobiles. $1500 bucks. Holy **** Batman! :) I'm still ******* bricks over that one and I won't even get to lay eyes on it until the end of this year. Definitley feels like I gave up a kidney for that one. :)
