I was just a kid when I got into this hobby. I walked into a Target and wandered down the toy asile and there were figures that looked just like the soldiers from Saving Private Ryan! Few carded figures turned into a massive collection. A Kubelwagen, the a Sotw jeep, 21st motorcyle and so on. Then slowly added some dragon figures and some more vehicles, etc. All went into storage as I grew up and went to college, got a job, got married, divorced, and married again. 37 now and finally all my figures are back under one roof. Dad brought the last container from 2 states over his last visit. Never got the Stuart sadly. I even missed the 50 dollar sale on them. I still search ebay weekly for one that I can afford. Still no luck. One day I hope to get one. Got a Dragon Pak40 on ebay recently. As good as I think I am modeling 1/35 the size has me second guessing myself. No idea how some of you made such awesome vehicles from scratch. I say all this to say this hobby gave me a lot. It gave me an interest in history that lead to pursuing it as a college degree. Gave me a safe place to enjoy a hobby as my family situation as a young man crumbled. There will never be a late 90s/early 2000s era in this hobby again, but man those days were great. Maybe I should go check the eBay stuart listings again before my kid needs a bottle.
