You swim out towards the light, paddling with the current which is only to glad to drag you towards the light. The light, however, get's no closer, no matter how hard you paddle. The current drags you out to the ocean, further and further from the shore, and still the light gets no closer. Unable to swim back, exhausted and sore, you sink benieth the surface.

You awake under a deep green light, in an unfamiliar place on a smooth rock, with water laping at your feet. It seems you are in a perfectly semispherical chamber, lit on all sides by erie green balls. There is a voice nearby, female and singing. She sits nearby, dangling her feet in the water and singing a wordless song. She looks something like an elder of legend, stories often told of their angular features and long, thin appearance. Her eyes are unnaturally large, and fixed firmly on you.
