Subject: Applebys in Nottinghamshire

I am getting desperate. I have knowledge of two distinct Appleby families in Retford, Notts, but can get no further back than Robert Appleby(born around 1740-500 who had two sons Thomas and Robert who were brickmakers and windmill owners.

I would be delighted to hear from anyone with Nottingham connections.
