Here's more info on 2 of the sons of George Walton Appleby (b. 1935 Durham):

Leonard Shafto Appleby died 13 MAR 1952 in Haney, BC and is buried in Hatzic Cemetery, as is his wife Katherine.

Charles Herbert Tucker Appleby (b abt 1868) surfaces in the 1898 BC voters list at Rosebank Farm, Sea Island, BC (now a part of either Richmond or Delta, BC), where he is a farmer. 1901 finds him and his family in the Burrard District of BC and he died 27 FEB 1953 in Kelowna, BC (in the interior of the province on Okanogan Lake). He married Maudeline "Maude" Esther (Hester?) Turner in New Westminster District, BC on 12 FEB 1892. Maudeline died in 1964 in Kelowna. They had at least 2 children:

Charles George Appleby, b. 1898 New Westminster district, BC; m. Ethel Kitto in 1926 in Penticton, BC

Constance Helena Appleby
Born 26 AUG 1898 New Westminster, BC
