Hi,
I hope that someone may be able to help in search of the above gentleman. He was I gather born in 1843/44 where I have no idea but the information I do have is that he was in Australia more especially in Melbourne as an actor on stage. The Melbourne Argus mentions him a few times over a 4 year period rather fondly. He retruned to the uk around 1887 to south shields, county Durham to run the theatre Royal in King Street with his wife who is just noted as Mrs T B Appleby. Thomas died in 1891 aged 47 and his wife ran the theatre for a year afterwards. I am unable to pin pont any solid information to where he fits into the family tree as my part of the Applebys hailed from south shields as well so here is a connection but travelling through the various geneology sites really does not help much. Please any information, pointers, clues would be a great help.
