Hi Tom. I dont think I knew you but I did know a lot of people who live in Farragut Road I cant't remember all their names but I did know the D'agostinos' Frankie,Joey Rosealie,Maryann and Gregory. I also remember Gracies. I also remember the candy across from the firehouse.I did go to the Holy Family dances every Friday night. Wow thats seems like such a long time ago. I did love living in Canarsie. I left because I got married .I now live in connecticut. Canarsie is not the same place anymore,now there are only memories. Bye nice chatting with you.

Hi Rita My nmae is Helen Shaugnessy. I lived in canarsie for 68 years. I remeber gracies candy store an di then moved upstairs in her house. she is still alive and is at the ripe old age of 94 PLease email me back at SIMaryM57@aol.com

Hi Helen. I do rembemer Gracies candy store in was in there all the time. I remember reading all the magazine and comic book . She was so nice to let us do that. My mother use to work for her doing ironing and stuff like that. I dont think I know you. It was wonderful to read your E-Mail.
