East Realm may be down a bit today....

US East Maintenance

A recent Realm Status post details Blizzard's plan to perform some tasks on their US East services
tomorrow and perhaps even into Friday morning. Here's the post:

U.S. East will be undergoing maintenance throughout the day Thursday, June 7th and
possibly early Friday, June 8th. During this maintenance period, U.S. East Battle.net
and Diablo II Realm servers may be disconnected from the Internet for short periods.
Once completed, connectivity for the U.S. East servers is expected to improve.
