Subject: 20 years since "buffy" premiered!

I wouldn't even have known if I hadn't heard it on NPR's Morning Edition (http://www.npr.org/2017/03/10/519465836/20-years-ago-buffy-welcomed-us-all-to-the-hellmouth-aka-high-school) this morning! They interviewed Jane Espenson, who ended by saying, "I remember literally saying, '20 years from now, we're going to be...looking back on this and we're gonna remember that we were part of a classic show that changed a lot of things. We gotta remember this time.'"

We remember that time, on TV & on this board. I miss that time, & those people. I wonder what Buffy would be doing in this time, & what the metaphors would be for what's going on now. @>(

And I'm sorry I haven't checked in for so long, both on the board & on LJ. I'm sure a lot's been going on w/everyone...I hope more of it's been good than bad. I didn't mean to stay away so long, or at all--just had too much RL to deal with. Even now, I need to do a bunch of stuff before I have a look at LJ. I'll try to do it over the weekend. At least I still remember my password, even if I forgot how to code a link!

My best to {all of you}.
