Subject: marti noxon on "marketplace," of all, um, places!

I may never have mentioned here that I listen to public radio, but last night I was listening to Marketplace, a show about economics/finance, when I heard that the 1st segment was an interview w/Marti Noxon (& yes, I did have to look up how to code a link after all this time). The headline is "'Sharp Objects' producer Marti Noxon hopes her work helps people feel less alone," & the description says, "The former 'Buffy' showrunner's got three shows on the air this summer."

This show being what it is, part of the interview focuses on how cable & streaming mean summer isn't just for reruns anymore & how some monetary/budgetary considerations, & the business model, come into play. The transcription on that page isn't the whole interview; you can hear that by clicking on any of 3 links on the page (why they need 3 I don’t know). Anyway, enjoy!
