Yes, I've been thinking that "this is only the first act" for a few days now. If only I could be strong enough to wait for the trades! The waiting is going to kill me dead.

Buffy's internal monologue on the balcony was my favourite part, it was just so very much Buffy - sad, funny, easily side-tracked.

I'm a little worried about the military angle myself, but it makes sense that all the changes Buffy's made to the world wouldn't go unnoticed. There are so many guesses to be made from this little snippet of a comic - but what I have missed about Joss is that while my guesses usually end up wrong the answer is often something that he's been preparing us for all along.
