I am with you on the High School/Hell analogy. Thats pretty far fetched. I never really even caught the symbolism until Mr. Whedon mentioned it during some interview I watched. I never thought that was a draw for me.

I really love the horror\comedy genre. What Buffy did for me was really make me interested in the dramatic aspects that were there too. The combination of all three is what hooked me. It was, and is, unique.

I can see why Afterlife affirmed your Buffy loving. It was another unique aspect that seperated it from everything else on TV and cinema.

I just like a heapin helpin of laughter with my apocalypse.
