"Oh yes!" He said, right before they went under, pulling her down despite her efforts to go back up. He could tell she was laughing so he didn't stop, but soon, even he needed breath. He grinned, laughing, as he came back above water, letting it drip off him, and fall from his hair. He stopped pulling her under, but still held onto her, for they had gone into deep water, by the current her wings had created, and he kept one arm under hers, yet still above her wings, to help her stay floating. His strong legs tread the water, till they were where he could stand, yet she couldn't. He grinned, and leaning slightly, pulled her legs up in his arms, so he was carrying her, baby-like. As soon as they reached the shallow-er water, he set her down, grinning. Impishly, he said, "That wasn't so bad now was it...?" He brushed a strand of hair out of her face, pushing it back behind her shoulder. Looking down really fast, he pushed the wet hair off his own face, where it stuck out at all odd angles, the water still dripping off his tanned body.
