The mare's small noise caught his attention and he turned slowly, a soft smile dawning on his lips at the sight of the delicate female.
'At last. Come here beautiful,'
he called, beconing to her as he set the pitchfork aside. Glad as he was to see her, he was anxious to get her in from the burning heat of the desert sun, as she appeared dehydrated amd exausted.
