Hi all,

I'm a new runner who is looking for his first 5k (everyone needs a goal, right?). Sept. 15th shows a "Celebrate Recovery 5k" at the VA hospital. I have a few questions for the group. Is this race far enough away for me to effectively train for it? I'm working my way up to a 20-minute run, three times a week, and I have been running for about 5 weeks. Also, is this race sponsored by the Celebrate Recovery addiction group? Is there a website where I can learn more information about the race? I'll try to check back on these boards, but an e-mail response would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is bryan.cook@stonesriver.org. Thanks in advance.
Bryan
