Date Posted: 11:53:14 06/13/03 Fri In reply to: Black Vash and Legato 's message, "Re: ~*~*approaching*~*~" on 10:56:24 06/13/03 Fri ~*~*you were surprised when you heard a loud 'PANG' coming off of Fire Song's barriers. you turned sharply and stared out into the room, seeing nothing. you heard the sound again, this time behind you. you turned in time to catch a ripple moving through the air. you watched it, unable to form a visual of what the ripple was. a slight bend in the air was all that you saw. you kept following it the best you could. it lept at you again, this time bending the barriers in a bit, but ended up getting thrown back against the wall. it broke a greaat deal of the stone, so the chamber outside the barrier filled with smoke and dust. when it settled, you were both relieved and mortified that enough of it had clung to the beasts fur for you to get a good look at it in smoky gray. its body was a compilation of a lion and goat- the main frame being that of the former, the legs having the hooves of the later. it had the heads of both- the lion and goat, both with unnaturally pointed teath that hung down out of its upper jaw when its mouths were closed. odd, though- both heads had a mane, and both heads had horns. its tail was a serpent, literally, with its head at the far end. it looked like some mangled cobra, with the hood out, whipping about trying to find something to bite. its fangs, like the others, were longer than normal. it did have wings as well- long bat-like wings, but from what you could tell through the dust that covered them, they were probably too short and mangled to allow it to fly. you heard it growl, though you were unsure which head the sound came from. it shook its self out, and climbed out of the rubble. it vanished into the air once again, nothing but a ripple moving slowly around the room.*~*~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
