Ravens Tear's are very obnoxious......... ~+~*he dropped down onto one knee, probably for support against something he was about to do. you fealt some energy shifting.... draining.... you saw a shimmer around his body, as he aparently took some of his shields down. he dropped his head, and crossed his arms over his chest. a set of long black, feathered wings shot out of his back, nearly pushing you out of the alley in the process. you had seen spirits and other beings pull off the same trick in the past, but they had never looked this pained. where the others had been flawless, his were missing a few feathers at the ends from earlier fights, and were covered in blood like his shoulders from the torn muscle when they emerged. he actually grew the wings, the others had just kept them sealed in another plane. you cringed when you looked at his shoulders where the bones in the wings had emerged- it looked like he had dislocated both shoulders, and torn every muscle in his back. he probably had. he jumped into the air, beating his wings furiously to gain altitude. you did not bother to follow him- you could see just find from where you were at. half way into his ascent, he vanished- was just, gone..... you thought that he had fled, but then you saw a small light from his locket glowing in the air. you watched it for a moment, then nearly jumped out of your skin when a beam of light shot off toward the north. it hit something that you could not see, then there was a silent shockwave, followed by an implosion of the area around that particulaar target. he came into view again when he dropped back into the alley. he closed his eyes as his wings slowly disapeared through his skin, which looked worse than when he had called them. he healed himself before you could ask him if he was hurt.*~+~ .....i should go...... i do not want to be responsible for your deaths.....
