Her eyes narrowed slightly at his tone, wishing to tell him exactly what she thought, but she took a deep breath and did not. With a dry laugh, she commented "I noticed..." about his pradictable-ness. But on the other hand, she pursed her lips as he spoke as if he knew her feelings. "Caleb. You do not know what I want, don't dare say you do." She watched him place the thorn-less rose behind her ear, and plucked it from it's place, twisting it in her hands so it spun back and forth rapidly while she took a moment to say what she wished, without breaking the man's heart. Soon she spoke. "You say it would be a shame, but it would only be a shame to you. I do not care for people who take advantage of me, and don't say you don't know what I am talking about." She muttered another few phrases under her breath but didn't say anything outloud. "I hate to burst your little bubble, but don't ever do that again. Especially if the person you are doing it to doesn't wish it." Green eyes gave the man a hard look, sending sparks. "Beleive me, that is not a way to get someone..." She muttered softly. Still swirling the thorn-less rose within her hands, she looked at it slightly sad, it was a shame it didn't have thorns. For that made part of it's beauty. Almost like her, without a temper, or her defense, she wouldn't be who she was...
