She hurried up to the man, in her heart hoping it was him, yet she didn't know what she'd do if it was. Cursing under her breath at the dressy sandels on her feet, she finally reached him. She breathed in deep of his scent, she was sure it was him. Her soft lips parted, she reached a hand over to him, cool fingers gently lifting his chin, staring into his mismatched eyes. They were full of regret or sorrow. She stared into those eyes for a moment, before thrusting herself at him, her arms going around his chest, he was taller than her of course. She buried her face in his chest, squeezing her eyes shut. She didn't want to cry. Not here. Not now. Not a word had she spoken, but now, she released him, after a moment, and slowly looked up into his eyes, and a single word left her lips, a single word worth a million. "Why..?" She asked him, her eyes bright.
