Subject: Cleric's Complete Heal Chain

Hello Family,

Well a couple of our clerics learned something new last night, Grats Frib and Fewbobite.

There is a cleric Complete Heal Chain, and this is used in raids. It is to keep the MT alive. The only reason I ask that our clerics all group together is so they get used to healing ONLY the MT. As a cleric myself,I know when group members start losing health at anytime, my first inclination is to heal them. NOT ALLOWED in a raid!

I know they might not like the job but druids, pallys, and whatnot all have a backup heal they can and do and should use in a raid to keep their groups alive as the clerics will be grouped together and not with them.

The clerics on a raid from our family will NOT HEAL ANYONE BUT THE MT or they will be taken out of the raid. If they persist on raids to heal others, then they will NOT be allowed in the chain again if it is me leading the clerics.
I know it is hard to watch your friends die. They WILL get rez's 96% rez's. They KNOW dying is part of raiding,we all learn this way.

Some raids are huge and hard very very hard, and there is at times more than one group of clerics doing a chain on perhaps two or more MT's. You need to PAY ATTENTION and KNOW WHO YOUR MT IS!

RULES FOR A COMPLETE HEAL CHAIN

1. Leave any channels your on EXCEPT the one for the clerics, and the raid or any requested by the raid leader to make. Your complete attention is required when raiding.

2.KNOW WHO YOUR MT IS. As you will ONLY be healing him / her.

3.Any cleric on raid that is caught healing anyone but the MT will be removed IMMEDIATELY from the chain, and NOT allowed back in one again, untill I am confidant that you know how to take orders. ONE PERSON ONLY is all it takes to break the chain and the raid wipes.Then it's just corpse runs and you know how much fun they can be. Keep the MT alive and your raid has a much better chance of succeeding.

I am going to give you an idea of how to set up your hotkey for this. I will use /1 as the cleric channel.

YOUR HOTKEY

line 1 - /1 casting Complete Heal on %T
line 2 - /sit off
line 3 - /rs casting Complete Heal on %T
line 4 - /1 casting Complete Heal on %T ABC your next
line 5 - /1 ABC cast NOW

Some raids require a pause, we'll get to that eventually, for now this hotkey is basic and can be used in most raids.

ABC is the cleric that FOLLOWS YOU IN THE CHAIN.

I know I seem bossy atm and please forgive me, but I want people to WANT AotBR clerics with them. If you don't know how to do this simple chain you will not be asked as often.
I know it's difficult to watch your friends die. It still bothers me to see a friends corpse laying there, but in order to be a good raid cleric you need to follow the orders, and PAY ATTENTION.

I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO CAST YOUR HEAL WHEN YOUR NAME COMES UP ... YOU KNOW THE CLERIC THAT IS AHEAD OF YOU IN THE CHAIN ... WATCH FOR THAT NAME TO COME UP ... CAST WHEN TOLD IMMEDIATELY ...TO BREAK THE CHAIN CAN AND WILL CAUSE DEATHS

Well I hope this help a little, I am so very proud of Fewbobite and Frib :) we took them into Rath Mountains which is a bit high for the group there last night, but those 2 clerics did WONDERFUL :)

Have fun hunting all. I am hoping to do more raids with alts and mains soon, any raid I set up will be on the spur of the moment and these rules will ALWAYS apply.
