Hi sis!

Of course I can tell you about the works. Well, let's say I'll try cause it's a little bit difficult. He writes (oops wrote) funny Science Fiction and redicules about a lot of things.

The Hitchhikers Guide deals with the earth which shall be blast away cause it lies in the way of a great new space highway. One alien with the name `Ford Prefect' knows about it and rescues his friend Arthur Dent. They hitchhike with a great Vogon Ship - aliens that are always bad-tempered.

They have a long journey and after some adventures (for example they visit the restaurant at the end of the Universe)Arthur and Ford (and some of their companions) get to know that the mice (who are also aliens from another planet) wanted to know the meaning of life, the universe and everything. They built a computer (Deep Thought) which told them the answer is "42". And he designed a new computer (--> the earth) which should found out the question to the answer.
And so Arthur and Ford try to find out....

I'm sure that sounds very very strange but it is just soooo funny! I laughed so much!

Here are the books

1. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
2. The Restaurant at the end of the Universe
3. The meaning of life, universe and everything
4. So long and thanks for the fish
5. To Rupert and back (well, so would be the translation of the German title...)

He also wrote other books which are also very funn
1. Dirk Gentley's holistic detective agency
2. The long five o'clock tea of the soul

Last chance to see... (a book about animals which nearly have vanished from our planet, very funny, but at the same time very serious).

Moreover he wrote "Spaceship Titanic" but I haven't read it so far.

Hope that helped!
Yubby yubby yub!
Wicket
