Subject: Guild Policies

Here are some ideas for the rules for the new guild. Feel free to speculate on these and add your own ideas:

I envision a fairly simple structure for the players in the guild: 1 Guildmaster, council members (minimum of 3, and then roughly 1 per 10 members as guild grows), guild members, and new recruits.

Each category of player would have their own special powers, mostly through the types of things they can vote on.

New recruits: Don't get to vote on anything. The new recruit period would last one weeks.

Typical guild members: Vote for guild leader and the council members once a month.

Council members: Vote on adding/removing any players each week. Removing members requires a 2/3rds majority. Also come up with and vote on any changes to the guild rules. The idea is that the typical guild members influence the council members decisions because they have the power to pick someone else to be in the council.

Guildmaster: Casts the deciding vote in case of tie on all council issues. In charge of coordinating guild meetings, raids, alliance issues, etc. Guildmaster must relinquish power once he/she is voted out.

Voting would take place via the website via a form (msg board or email until that is available) and the voting period would last for 24-48 hours.
