Michael, of course, would never take the time to explain how he figured out the riddle. If you asked him, he would just look at you with that blank stare and tell you to focus or something. LOL! But I had a long talk with him after the mission and he told me this:

He didn't really understand it until he stopped to rest and was remembering his past with Nikita. When he remembered back to the first time that he met her in the white room, he thought back to the picture that he gave her of her grave and funeral (where she remarked that her mother was not there) He told her at that time that her plot was Row 8, Plot 30 (I went back to the transcripts on the web and he was right)

He knew then, that "the picture that was worth a thousand words" was that one. (When he pointed to it as he walked out the door, it expained the consequences to Nikita if she refused to cooperate)

He, also knew that the east and west like were an indication of plot coordinates (like on a map)and a play on the word plot. It in itself wasn't a specific detail, but just a hint (like riddles often give you)

The alpha and omega line was a direct reference to the way that Nikita entered Section and the only way that she could leave-- by her death. Which, if she had died in this story would have started and ended (alpha & omega - the beginning and the end) with Row 8, Plot 30.

Finally, the last line refers that to the fact that if one were thinking logically and were going to bury someone in the "only place that would do" it would be in the grave with their name on it. Good o' Michael.

After our talk I have to confess, I tried to make a move on him, but he told me that he was in love with Nikita and that I needed to focus.

Hope that helps! I appreciate such much that you cared enough to ask. Hope that you enjoyed my little story. I sure do enjoy reading yours.

See you in the 'tunes!
