In reply to: Sanlin 's message, "Ahhh... *Finally* managed to catch up with this one. :-D I'm glad I did. :-D {{{{{{CathyR}}}}}} (r)" on 11:56:33 03/26/01 Mon

Thank you so much, Sanlin. I think that because the series is still so new and fresh to me that I can't help but want to write more and more episodes in order to capture the Section "moment" as it were. I love the "mind games" and the intrigue, the mis-understanding, the sexual tension,*wg* *nudge, wink, poke in the ribs* and, of course, the on-going power struggle (and struggle for survival) that everyone feels in the show.

To me, its the ultimate scenario. We all have to make decisions for the greater good - decisions which sometimes pain us. (You can't go to the party cause you didn't do your homework, etc.) But in LFN these people play the game with their lifes on the line at all times. Every action, every word is under a microscope and is suspect. That makes for wonderful drama and adventure. With such a concept to work it is beyond my power of reason to understand why anyone conected with the show would willingly stop.

I can see it now, *Fifty years down the road, the original cast and crew, writers, directors, and actors are playing LFN in lounges and civic theatres across Canada, America, and the free world . "We will never stop," they would say. "The world will never cancel us!" (Of course their main gig would be in Vegas with Red Cell disguised as cross-dressers and female impersonators)* LOL

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! I'm working hard to improve my writing skills so that during the brief time that they're with me, I can take my reader as far as possible into that other dimension--where fantasy becomes so real that they can only think "Life must be the illusion".

Hugs back to ya,
Cathy
