Hey, Ky, I like your new board! Anyway, I'm sorry you don't like DM's first single. Do other DM fans feel the same way you do? When Toni Braxton came out "He Wasn't Man Enough", I really didn't like that song but I bought her album and I liked all the other songs on there, so hopefully it'll be like that with DM's album.

When I first heard "He Wasn't Man Enough," I didn't really like it, too, but then it grew on me, and now I dig it. ;-) Boy, I've been SO beat and stressed in February with ITW shutting down and my other personal dilemmas (more in reply, click me) >>>

Thank goodness I can always listen to other LINKIN PARK (my obsession for this band is starting to grow, help, hehe) songs on their "Hybrid Theory" album, and their "One Step Closer" (That is my stress-free anthem) song to calm me down ("I cannot take this anymore, I'm saying everything I've said before, All these words they make no sense, I find bliss in ignorance, Less I hear the less you'll say, But you'll find that out anyway, Just like before...Everything you say to me, Takes me one step closer to the edge, And I'm about to break, I need a little room to breathe, Cause I'm one step closer to the edge, And I'm about to break, I find the answers aren't so clear, Wish I could find a way to disappear, All these thoughts they make no sense, I find bliss in ignorance, Nothing seems to go away, Over and over again, shut up when I'm taking to you" ---> I can't get this song off my head, eek! HELP!). Linkin Park wrote that song when they were stressed out on trying to finish their debut album in the recording studio. ALL of their lyrics are SO poetic! I'm in heaven. ;-)

BTW, I think I was a bit harsh about DM (being that I'm such a devoted depechemode devotee) b/c from reading reviews of their "Exciter" album from fans who've had an advanced copy of it, they state that this album is a lot better than their last record and I wasn't disappointed much with their last album. As a matter of fact, I like a lot of songs off that album. They also state that there are better tracks off that album than their scheduled first single for "Exciter," which is entitled, "Dream On."

So, it's always best to judge an album in its entirety than snippets b/c when I heard snippets of *NSync's "NSA" before the release, I didn't like it much, but the songs grew on me later on, so I think those DM songs will grow on me, eventually, as I've always grown accustomed to listening to DM's songs for the 1st time and not initially like it 1st, but later on.
