Subject: Overrated artists

This post will mainly petain to those who play guitar but as well to those who don't.
I just want to see who people think is the most overated band or musical performers are. Personally I think it's a four way tie between System of a Down, Staind, Coldplay, and Linkin Park.The reason I dislike System,Staind,Linkin Park, is because as a guitar player I read alot of guitar magazines and they're always making out like these three bands are hot shit when it comes to their "guitar wizardry."
(Coldplay excluded since they're not known for guitar.)
Starting with System's Daron Malakian,to quote Andrew "Dice" Clay,"I've heard cats fuck with better rhythm." And what innovation we get from Staind's Mike Mushok. Hey, let's get a barritone guitar, tune down and play chords we first learned when we started to play guitar.Man he's awesome,guitar wouldn't be the same without him.Linkin Park man, wow such complete mastery of an instrument by Brad Delson.They make out how he practically invented natural harmonics and he seems to think so to. He said that you don't hear many people use them. What does he think those high pitched squeals that Dimebag uses? Even Puddle of Mudd use harmonics, but he makes out like he's some kind of progenitor of these techniques. As for Coldplay, to use another quote(this time Triumph the Insult Comic Dog)"Coldplay I liked you better when you were still U2." U2 though,as another person called Mike(who used to be in Mecha) said,"They're the MOST overated band of the eighties" I can't believe I left out U2, they're another bunch of inoperable tumors on the base of music's spine. What I can't figure out is why people make out like Bono is sort of new messiah and the Edge is real great guitar player too. He plays the same thing EVERY time! But that's my opinion and you know what they say," Opinions and asshole are the same, everybody has one."
