Subject: How about artists who can't top THEIR last album?

Call me a grammar nazi, but I really hate to see the written language go to shit each and every day because of the internet.

For me, the few bands that constantly deliver with every album (and who get better with every album) are AFI, Nine Inch Nails and Tool. Well, that's bands that I listen to with great frequency. David Bowie, possibly my favourite solo artist ever, had great albums up until 95/97 (with the exception of the 80s which were for the most part just icky all around). His last two albums have just let me right the fuck down and that's no fun.

That's all I can think of at this late hour.
