若以「民之所好好之，民之所惡惡之」作為「民本」的注腳，已證明「主」在君，不在民。因全句的意思是「君主能就民之所好而好之和就民之所惡而惡之便是一位好君主」。因此，民本思想仍然是由君作主，而不是由民作主。

若果中國人從來未有想過除皇帝管治以外還有別的政治體制，一整天都只是在聽候君主的聖旨，又怎會產生「民主」的思想？

引申下去，若果中國人從來未有想過除共產黨管治模式之外還有別的管治模式，一整天都只是在聽候黨的聖旨，又怎會產生……

唉，我又將被判定「走上不愛國之路」了。多言多敗，奈何！
