A better judgement would be to get half a dozen pins in a bunch, tilt them on an angle and drag them across your skin.

Then factor in what kind of tatt you're getting. One of mine had three go-overs - first the outline, second the colour, third the shading. The other only had the outline and shading.

Some people get them done in stages - part by part over a couple weeks. Some people get them done all in one go. Keep in mind that if it's all done at once, it'll be sore, but all heal evenly. If you get it done in parts, he's tattooing across half-healed skin.

So, I add my nope to the list. It's gonna hurt. *g*
