I read the book "Death of Innocence" and it seems to me that "Santa" should have been a suspect. Some things just didn't sound right, like him telling JonBenet that he was secretly going to visit her, and the fact that the BPD didn't follow up on that like they should have disgusts me. I think the police should have followed all of the leads that were provided to them and they should have called in the FBI right away. The fact that one of the detectives said that John Ramsey was guilty because she "saw it in his eyes" is absurd. And how can anyone say the parents weren't acting like normal parents would when they found out about her death? Losing a child is NOT NORMAL and so there isn't a NORMAL way to act!!! How can they determine normal behavior??? America is suppossed to be the land of the free and people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, yet John and Patsy Ramsey have been treated as prisoners from day one and it just isn't right. I do not believe that they killed their daughter. They loved her and that is evident. People just need to let the Ramsey's live on and grieve their daughter outside of the public eye. I can't imagine the strain the media has put on their grieving process. They should be able to remember the times that they spent with JonBenet and don't have to see slanderous headlines everywhere they look. It just isn't right.
