Hi,

Simply do a search on dosage calculations adn several resources come up-- many show you how to set the problem up as well. Lisa Im in a accelerated dosage class in which we go over deminsinal analysis thats last only 4 weeks and covers 26 chapters... take a deep breath, and use your clinical instructers hours.... Ummmmmm where are the problems we are going to review???? Hers one I need help with

The recommendation is gentamicin 6mg/kg/day in equal doses divided q8h. The med is avial. in multiple dose vials of 20 mg per 2ml. How many Ml would be recommended per day for a Pt. weighing 13.4oz? HOLY Molly ?

Work it out please
Timmie RN, SN
