Is there ANY pageants out there that DOESN'T let pageant moms judge?? Would like for my daughter to do a pageant with QUALIFIED judges. -- WWTW Discussion Board

not only is pageant moms judging a problem, but in Alabama, its the same judges over and over and they know who to pick before the pageant starts. (NT) -- Anonymous, 03:46:58 12/23/03 Tue

- What you fail to realize is that a LOT of pageant moms are VERY qualified. You just have to try and make sure they don't know anyone who is competing. I would much rather have a qualified mom than a clerk who sells cosmetics, and does not know the difference between white socks and red tights. -- Anonymous, 13:08:16 01/23/04 Fri
WHAT MAKES YOU THINK A PAGEANT MOM IS NOT QUALIFIED ENOUGH? IF HER CHILD HAS COMEPETED FOR ENOUGH YEARS SHE SURE KNOWS WHAT TO LOOK FOR. AS LONG AS SHE IS HONEST AS WELL. I HAVE JUDGED FOR YEARS AND HAD SOME OF MY FRIENDS CHILDERN COMPETE AND THAT MADE NO DIFFERENTS AT ALL. - I think that a pageant mom can be judge IF her daughter is no longer competing. Because most pageant moms will not judge their daughters age group fairly.
