I love Harry Potter too, although I haven't had time to read the books yet. (I'm the only person I know who hasn't!) I was disappointed too, thinking that DW would have made a great Dumbledore. But then, *any* role in HP would be great for him. (I was even thinking he might be a good Voldemort--but Ralph Fiennes got that one. But I'm not complaining *too* much about that! I still think he looks so much like DW, especially his eyes. Oh, and he's a great actor besides!)
I mean, the HP series is turning into such a Who's Who of great British character actors that it's starting to seem like a snub. (Could you believe Alan Rickman, David Thewlis, Gary Oldman, and Timothy Spall all on the screen at the same time in the last one? I just didn't know where to look! That scene is way too short. Glad Santa brought me the DVD!)
Anyway, there's must be a place for DW in Harry Potter somewhere! Do we need to send a petition to J.K. Rowling or what? Since you've read the books, are there any other good characters left for him?

PS: That "stalker" thing was meant as a joke! I hope that's not the reason everyone disappeared. If there's anybody who could be mistaken for a stalker around here, it's the one who's been talking to herself for months, ahem. ;-) (BTW, ever see the episode of Will & Grace where Jack is stalking Kevin Bacon? It's hilarious.)
