You're not kidding! For an orchestra which could represent the planet in an intergalactic "most conservative orchestra in the universe" competition, it's all a bit unexpected. Perhaps they're trying to prove their groovy new post-millenial credentials. Should result in an entertaining mass scramble for tickets with a crowd-pulling programme like that.

My initial reaction was similar to that I would have experienced had I seen "A Hollywood Night at the Movies with Pierre Boulez and the Ensemble InterContemporain, plus special guests Bond, Russell Watson and that girl off Big Brother". Definitely a surprise!
