Keep the Khachaturian 3 for the BBC Phil, or the EUYO...

I'm very much afraid that S-S3 will be the work of choice, as it is very accessible and won't put off the TV viewer. My only plea in that case would be to check the fabric and structure of the Hall, take out more insurance and then turn the volume up to FULL. As my American friends would say - 'bury the needle'.

I want seismologists discussing the anomaly they record across the world which appears to have its epicentre in London. If it doesn't cut it on the Richter (or modifird Mercalli) scale, then it doesn't cut it for me. I will happily wear a hard hat and secure loose or fragile possessions if that is what it takes, just don't back off. Is that thumping you feel in your chest the long pipes in use, or is it the thunder of the mounts of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse approaching? If you leave thinking that the Hall has acquired a longer reverb, kind of like a ringing sound that you can still hear, actually ... that's about it.
