Wow, I wasn't so far off after all. (I knew "Arriva" wasn't quite right...!) I was indeed in the Hall, in the Arena in fact, and this was my first Prom for which I've queued up, having had seats for the other three I've attended (the King's Singers in 1997 (which I enjoyed hugely), the Bach B Minor Mass in the same year (which I enjoyed slightly less as I was getting annoyed with the person I went there with), and the Scholl/ABO thing last year (where I have to admit I dozed through the instrumental bits, as I was both jetlagged and on antihistamines, even a half dose of which knocks me right out - bwah). Oh dear, what a terribly long sentence. Ah well, those who've met me in real life will know I'm given to wibbling at length. Thanks for letting me know what that shout was - it was driving me (more) 'round the twist.
