I don't think that is at all fair. Talking to the stewards, it is clear that the briefings have been considerably better than I can ever remember and they have been given a very accurate understanding of what has always been seen as queueing.
I have been particularly impressed with the way that redcoats as well as bluecoats have smoothed over difficult situations to the satisfaction of all - with the possible exception of the person who, having already been escorted out and shown the back of the Season Ticket queue on Thursday) was to be found standing in the bullring, by the door to the Arena declaiming that as he had a season ticket he had no need to queue.
Of course, we don't see so much of other levels and areas of management. The "silent" ventilation system is not so quiet - if, indeed, that is what it was (and if it wasn't a level of incompetence in another area was exposed).
