The Duty manager who told me that there was nothing wrong with the RAH shining a bright light in the face of 2 prommers per bay in the Gallery was not very helpfull or skilled in Customer Service. His answer was just that I could just stand somewhere else. It may be attractive to the rest of the hall to have the pillars in the Gallery lit up but I am sure noone would mind if they turn the lights off during the performance saving 40+ Gallery Prommers going home with headaches.
