Subject: Sea Songs and Rule Britannia Question

Can anyone help me with a query about these two pieces and how they have been presented on the Last Night?

As far as I know, there are seven sea songs in total as part of the fantasia:

1. Saucy Arethusa
2. Tom Bowling
3. Jack's The Lad
4. Farewell To Thee Ye Spanish Ladies
5. Home Sweet Home
6. See The Conquering Hero Comes
7. Rule Britannia

In recent years, the Proms have done the first three consecutively followed by an encore of No. 3. I had presumed that this was the 'sea songs' as listed in the programme. They then moved on to something else, which I presumed was a long introduction to Rule Britannia, as this was the next item on the programme. However, it seems that this introduction was in fact sea songs 4, 5 and 6.

Did they play all the sea songs in full and simply took a break in between 3 and 4?
What exactly is the difference between the Wood and Sargent versions of Rule Britannia? Obviously there won't be a soloist, and I'm guessing that there may only be two or three verses instead of four.
Will they play all seven consecutively as part of a single programme listing? I find it hard to believe that they won't encore 3 at the appropriate point.

Thanks to those who can help.
