 Greetings to all on the 17th March, a coincidence I assure you.
I have been tralling through the various postings trying to gather up any authoritive rumours regarding concerts in the new coming season. This has been particularly brought about not just by my own interest, but by a telephone conversation with a an old and good friend to me and some of the Prommers, Frances Rawlinson of the Halle Orchastra who is not too well just now and wonders will he be able to make it to this years season. He was most interested to hear some of the "rumours" and it gave him such pleasure.

Would it be a good idea if we keept a thread going with a list of concerts that could be added to as info arrived so that it would save going through all the threads and people could have an early idea of dates they should keep free. I do realise that this info is already available but it is scattered through the postings and takes a long time to assemble, especially if you have a slow service.

I have no more time to "perfect" this idea but if it is possible or useful perhaps others would take it from here.
