Alas, I could see this one coming from some distance. The residents were never exactly delirious about prommers parking their butts on the grass (not to mention their picnics, their fag ends &c) and they have taken the obvious opportunity to do something about it. But yes, I lament the passing of beer and boules on those lawns. I also guarantee that when Prommers, trippers or otherwise, go and sit there anyway, as they will do, there will be trouble. I can just see Francis bristling for a fight now: pass the smelling salts, I feel quite overcome...
