Having also to work for a living, and not being able to arrive until 4.30-ish, is fairly familiar territory. In general, I have got a spot on the rail for most concerts arriving late afternoon, or at worst in the second row. I don't see any problems for you tomorrow.

It used to be so nice when I worked in Westbourne Grove - out of the office at 4, down to Bayswater then a stroll across Hyde Park - often picking up an ice cream on the way. Now it's a bus ride to High St Ken, then a trot along the main road (or the occasional blessing of a 52 from Notting Hill).

I'm breaking myself in gently this season - seats for the first night (my wife being with me) and probably not too huge a queue for the Handel on Saturday. The big visiting orchestras later in the season might mean a third row for me, but I'm taking a day off for the Fidelio to allow for a decent place...

See you all tomorrow night!
