To think I was worried when all went quiet here as the BBC's notice board started to get noticed by our regular posters.

How nice it is to be able to come back here. I thought that after the LNOTP had finished the number of people posting on the other site would decrease. It just seems that the standard of the messages have. For every well-argued message (from the Pro or Anti LNOTP camp) there are a dozen or more unpleasent ones.

There are so many that need addressing and correcting that I have ended up taking a step back and not posting. I am grateful to those that have the time and patience to reply sensibly to the numerous far from sensible posts. As the site has been monintered by the BBC you are doing us all a service by dismissing some of the comments that we would not like to be seen taken seriously by the powers that be.

I hope that it doesn't go on much longer.

To those Arena prommers I met on Friday - Hello! I hope you enjoyed the Prom. Next season me and my lot will try and pop round and say hello to you lot now and then. We might be a long way apart in the hall, but we're all prommenaders and shouldn't be strangers to each other!
