dreadful programmes: Sibelius Violin Concerto and Mahler 4 (Kavakos and Ziesak, I think), Mendelssohn MSND music, Dvorak 9 and Haydn C Major Cello C in the other. All the works are lovely in their own right, but all jumbled up together they make a right bums-on-seats hash. Oh, and Blomstedt conducting. I'm falling asleep already.
