It is not a hard one to build. Sorry I can't tell you how much wood it takes but I suspect not a lot. I started in 1554 (second year) and was finished by middle of 1549 (Second to last year). This was with only 1 carpenters guild and 1 stonemasons guild. And also I did have a few times when the carpenters ran short of wood. I would love to know when the monument is (how much %) finished that you can stop delivering wood to the carpenter. Every time I have gone right through I seem to end up wasting 2-3 loads of wood at the carpenters. My guess is that it only uses about 10-12 loads of wood tops but I do not know as this is one of the first monuments I have ever built.
The biggest problem with it seems to be wood supply so this is what I do now. I buy 1600 wood at the entrance and sell it as soon as its brought. This usually happens in the first 3 months. I then get the other 900 delivered to a storage yard nearest to the monument. Once I have brought the whole 900 I then set it to sell down to 0. This gives the cartpusher time to load up the carpenters guild with all they need till the next year. This usually leaves me 600-700 to sell but I have not kept track of it. I do the same for each year until its completed but as I said it would be nice to know when the carpenter does not need any more wood and I could trade at the entrance storage yards easiler. My system does work but like everything in this contest requires a bit more micro management.

I guess you could build it in half the time with two of each but that is an extra cost and there is plenty of time as I said it only took me 5 and a half years with one of each.
