I presume that this is you Elf. For the july 1551 fight if the difference is 4 returning soldiers then that is 4 less chariorts needed to buy the next year. i.e 1200db saving on chariots for a 1000db outlay on an academy. And you don't have to repurchase the academy. And you save another 900db on the 1550 battle if as you said it is 8 to 5 soldiers returning. So just to get through those 2 battles is a 1000db outlay for an academy results in an 2100db return and maybe the difference between winning and losing the 1549 battle. So it definitly is cost effective. The main problem is building the academy before 1551 battle.

Weapons I think are 135db each so to build an additional fort at 1000db and 16 weapons at 135 = 3160Db.
To replace chariots in the first fort costs 11 x 300db = 3300db to get to 16 soldiers. Then with an academy 2 x 300db for 1553 fight, 6 x 300db for 1552 fight, 4 x 300db for 1551 fight and 8 x 300db for 1550 fight. a grand total of 6000db to get back to 16 soldiers for 1549 fight. (my result says for 1552 I sent 12 and got 6 back, can't remember what yours said Elf so I will leave mine in).
If we forget about the chariot fort and don't import any chariots except for the 4 request and one after getting the academy running (To improve the fighting force of the 6 soldiers) then to build 2 infantry forts and stock them is 6320db. This may mean that if we get it going early enough then it will leave the 6 chariots to deal with the invasion and help in the harder 1549 battle. And have 2 forts of infantry to fight the other battles. maybe starting out with chariort fort was just a red herring as to the best way to go.

Doing this would mean starting the army earlier and forgoing something else down the track but it is important to win all the battles not just for the 100 points but to stop the trade routes from closing. If we forget about PR and concentrate on the other factors then maybe that could be the best mix. ie 100KR(if possible?) + 100 CR + 44 MR +100 battles and maybe 25 for PR leaving 369 for a score and that would be quite high I think.
