Subject: Bast to the rescue

This time I built 2 temples to Bast and played for major Bast blessings in addition to Ptah blessings. You have to be careful because you can't accept any minor blessings from either god. But the extra savings allowed me to import enough chariots to win all 5 battles (sent a full academy trained company each time to minimize the loses).

The Bast blessing to fill bazaars and houses helps a lot and can save lots of money. For example, I imported 1600 grain early (which was enough to put grain into all the houses in the housing block) but didn't need to import any more - Bast kept them full. I imported 4000 game meat to get it into all the houses (they had evolved by then and required more for each house) and then didn't need any more. Beer was not imported at all. The initial gift of 400 was more than enough for all the houses and Bast kept them topped up for the rest of the game.

Linen was stockpiled for 6 months after it arrived, there was then enough to get me through to the end of the game. So didn't need to import any, nor open the trade route to Byblos.

Had to delete the feeder housing by the entrance and ensure that the remaining housing was all at fancy residence by JUL 1548 so that PR became 90. After the jewelry became available, one manor (and a bit of employment management) was enough to get it to 100 in OCT 1548.

So max score was achieved! 444 points.
Regards,
Elf
