He could feel his eyes burning with the need to cry but shook his head slightly. It hurt too much to look at Aragorn. 'No, 'Master' Aragorn.' He sensed Aragorn coming towards him and braced himself for the worse. He blinked. One moment he was in front of him, the next behind him. He didn't have time to think about it before he felt a stabbing pain in his chest. He whimpered and crumped to the floor, wrapping his arms around himself. He looked down and dimly noted that he could see the floor. Through his legs. He laughed but it sounded hollow even to him. He knew what was happening. He had been warned that it could happen. But he had figured he wouldn't ever get the change to love someone, so it wouldn't happen. 'I was wrong.'
