Based on Columbia’s 2 wins over Princeton as well as their trajectory since early season losses, they certainly deserve a bid, even if they fall to the Tigers in a third match in the league tournament for the NCAA auto bid. OTOH I’m not so sure my Tigers get a bid unless they go at least 5-1 the rest of the way.

P women take the regular season title with H’s upset of Columbia moments after P defeated Y.

The outcome of this ridiculous upcoming tournament is another story where I think Columbia is the favorite, although an unexpected result is possible since neither Columbia (nor P and I include here it’s close wins) is prohibitively dominant. IMO. Can’t rule out H, and Brown could surprise but I think that is somewhat less likely.

The results yesterday realigning the ILT and forcing Columbia to beat Harvard and Princeton back-to-back is a huge downer. According to Charley Creme’s new Bracketology today, Lions have to win the tourney to make the NCAAs. Obviously, the same for Crimson. Tigers apparently are in regardless, barring insane upsets in other small conferences. Bruno has lost three of four, and is a huge long shot.

I take your points above. But I do think Columbia is still well situated. H beating them twice in a week? And we have not yet figured Columbia ourselves and H has proven to be a very difficult opponent. Not that I am taking Brown for granted.
